MaiaSpace, founded in 2022 as a subsidiary of ArianeGroup, focuses on developing Europe’s first reusable and eco-friendly mini-launcher, Maia. The rocket is designed to carry payloads of up to 500 kg to sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) in its reusable configuration and up to 1.5 tons in its non-reusable version. Depending on the setup, it can deliver between 0.5 and 4 tons to low Earth orbit (LEO).
